  • What can I expect at my facial appointment?
Please arrive 5-10 minutes early to your appointment to fill out paperwork. When you first arrive, I will also need time to properly evaluate your skin and do a consultation. It's preferred that you arrive without makeup so we can jump right into our treatment. If you're unable to come to your appointment without makeup, it’s totally fine and we can remove it when you arrive! Once we're ready to get started, you will be asked to dress down to your level of comfort. I will provide a spa wrap for you to wear. We will be working on your neck and décolleté, so you may want to remove any necklaces/jewelry.
  • How often should I get a facial?
Ideally, we would like to see you every 4-6 weeks. Your skin renews every 4-6 weeks, so this gives your skin enough time to renew between treatments. Your home regimen and custom treatment plan will also determine how often you come in for a facial. We can discuss you skincare needs, preferred outcomes, schedule and budget together to build a custom plan that works for you.
  • Do facials hurt? Will I breakout after my service?
All of our facials are non-invasive and should NOT be painful! You may notice some tingling during peels and/or enzymes, some pressure during manual extractions, or some suction during microdermabrasion, but no portion of the facial should hurt. You may experience “purging” after a facial due to active ingredients renewing your skin at a faster pace than normal, but these “breakouts” are temporary and clear up quickly without leaving scars - it's totally normal! (Be sure not to pick at your skin/blemishes!) This is your skins way of getting rid of all the gunk deep inside your pores.
  • Can I get a facial if I'm pregnant?
Yes! We have facials tailored to our expecting mamas, just make sure to mention if you are pregnant or trying to get pregnant.
  • Can men get facials?
Absolutely! Men deserve (and need) facials just as much as ladies do! We can tailor a facial for any and everyone regardless of their gender.
  • Are there any things I should avoid doing after getting a facial?
Avoid putting on makeup after a facial. Your skin will be glowing so you won’t even need to! However if you must, wait at least 6 hours, but be sure to remove it at the end of the day and do your nighttime regimen before bed. Use a gentle cleanser and moisturizer afterwards to give your skin a chance to repair itself. Avoid smoking and drinking up to 72 hours after treatment. These both speed up the aging process! Be sure to drink plenty of water!
